Israel deals with radical Islamist terrorists daily, and the Israeli government is putting on a clinic on how to effectively deal with these violent monsters.
An extensive security operation between the Israeli police and military was recently executed to destroy the east Jerusalem home of Ibrahim al-Aqari, a Hamas operative who launched a terrorist attack in the capital city in November.
Al-Aqari killed a yeshiva student and a border police officer when he intentionally drove his vehicle into two groups of Israelis waiting by a train station near an ultra-Orthodox neighborhood, according to Q Political. After the wreck, the terrorist tried to attack bystanders with a metal pipe, but was shot dead by an officer.
The two deceased victims were Jidan Assad, 38, and Shalom Aharon Baadani, 17. Assad was the father of a 3-year-old boy, and his wife was pregnant with their second child at the time. Baadini was reportedly the grandson of a rabbi.
The terrorist’s family and friends proudly celebrated the man’s actions. Al-Aqari’s wife said that when he saw images of blood and wounded people during clashes with police forces at the Temple Mount earlier that morning, “He rushed out to become a martyr and hero.”
Residents of the Shuafat refugee camp, where al-Aqari lived, even declared a day of mourning after his death, according to Q Political.
Hamas called al-Aqari’s attack a “quality operation” and encouraged Palestinians to increase attacks against Israel, particularly in Jerusalem.
Meanwhile, the Palestinian Authority chalked the blatant terror attack up as a “car accident.” The authority’s official news agency’s headline regarding the incident read: “Jerusalem driver dies in car accident that also injured Israelis.”
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu summed up the nation’s national security interests by saying: “Israel is a nation of law. We will not tolerate disturbances and rioting. We will act against those who throw stones, block roads and call for the establishment of a Palestinian state in a place of the State of Israel. Whoever does not honor Israeli law will be punished with utmost severity.”
A spokesman for the Israeli police echoed Netanyahu’s goals in a statement about the security operation that destroyed al-Aqari’s home.
“Police forces are prepared to ensure order and security, and to prevent violence in order to allow IDF forces to carry out the order of the commander of the Homefront Command and destroy the home of the terrorist in the Shuafat refugee camp,” he said.

Wow! If only our own government could abandon its politically correct rhetoric and actually take action in the name of homeland security and justice. President Barack Obama could learn a lot from Netanyahu and the Israeli leaders.
Sadly, it seems he is too concerned with “not offending” Muslims and other Middle Eastern countries.
