Tucker Has Questions for Liberal Snowflakes Melting Over Trump "S**thole" Comment
Tucker Carlson has a knack for cutting though the noise and getting right to the heart of an issue… and that’s exactly what he just did with the latest anti-Trump controversy.
The media and Trump’s enemies — a distinction that’s becoming hard to tell apart — flew into outrage after it was reported that the president used the term “s**thole” to describe several poor and unsafe parts of the world.
Nobody seemed to deny that the countries the president was allegedly talking about are, in fact, extremely unstable and have serious problems. Rather, the left seemed shocked that someone actually said out loud what everyone already knows.
That’s the point that Tucker Carlson strongly made on Thursday, during a heated exchange with Jose Parra, the Latin communications director from Obama’s campaign.
“The idea that you are not allowed to say that they’re pretty crummy countries, Haiti for example or El Salvador, I’ve been in both of them — that’s why people are leaving them to come here,” Carlson said, according to The Daily Caller.
“So I don’t understand what the sin is. You’re not allowed to point out that other countries aren’t as good places to live as America?” the Fox host continued.
Parra tried to argue that using an expletive was insulting, despite the fact that Trump was clearly talking about locations and not people, if his alleged quote is even accurate.
Tucker, in his to-the-point style, reminded his guest of what everyone already knows: If those nations weren’t so bad, there would be no reason for millions of immigrants to be fleeing them.
“The people who left those countries, some of them rode trains all the way through Mexico or they hid in the wheel well of a plane to leave, they would agree with that. So why the outrage?” he asked. “You have to lie and pretend?”
The outspoken conservative host made the same point on Twitter, and called out the hypocrisy of liberals demanding America take refugees from places like El Salvador, while refusing to admit the reasons that there are refugees from El Salvador.
“Option A: El Salvador isn’t a ‘shithole,’ so they don’t need 17 years of Temporary Protected Status, and migrants from there should be sent home immediately,” he wrote.

Tucker, as is often the case, is right. People who have actually been to that country or any of the other nations Trump was talking about knows that they are cesspools of crime, corruption and danger.
The president’s term, even though crass, is even literally accurate, as anybody who has experienced a lack of waste disposal and indoor plumbing can attest. People who pretend otherwise either have never been to those parts of the world, or are being disingenuous.
Liberals might disagree about what our immigration policies should be — that’s the point of debate — but flying into faux outrage over the fact that there are bad, crummy parts of the world is ridiculous.
It’s about parroting narratives and repeating politically correct falsehoods while attacking anybody who speaks the truth. This outrage over reality needs to stop, or America is in serious trouble.
