Trump: Palestinians Can Kiss Aid Goodbye if They Don't Respect Us, Israel

Share

President Donald Trump has made it very clear to the Palestinians that if they do not begin showing respect toward the United States and Israel, they can kiss all of the aid America sends them goodbye.

Speaking to reporters Thursday at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, Trump stood firm in his decision to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel — the first president to do so — and said the U.S. would be moving its embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.

As noted by Townhall, Trump’s comments came while sitting next to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, and he had a few words for the terrorist-supporting Palestinians and their constant lack of cooperation with the peace process.

“What I did with Jerusalem was my honor. We give (Palestinians) hundreds of millions of dollars of aid and support. Tremendous numbers. Numbers nobody understands,” Trump said.

“That money is on the table and that money’s not going to them unless they sit down and negotiate peace. Because I can tell you, Israel does want to make peace and they’re going to have to want to make peace too or we’re not going to deal with them any longer.”

“We took Jerusalem off the table so we don’t have to talk about it anymore,” Trump continued. “They have to respect the process and they have to respect the fact that U.S. has given tremendous support to them over the years…respect has to be show to the U.S. or we’re just not going any further.”

Netanyahu, obviously very pleased that he has the full support of the White House unlike when former President Barack Obama was in office, thanked Trump for the “historic decision” and said it will be “forever etched” in the hearts of the Israeli people.

“(The UN) is a house of slander against Israel and the United States and by the way of this deed (moving the embassy) you have told them ‘enough is enough,'” Netanyahu said. “Thank you, Mr. President.”

Remarks made by both Trump and Netanyahu can be seen below in the video clip uploaded by Fox News:

Do you approve of Trump's job at dealing with Israel and Palestine?

Trump’s remarks followed Palestinian leaders refusing to meet with Vice President Mike Pence a few days prior during his trip to Israel, where the terror-supporting regime also denigrated him for his Christian faith.

More importantly, Trump again reaffirmed that he will not continue to send aid to the terrorist-supporting Palestinians if they do not immediately begin respecting the U.S. and Israel.

Israel has been a punching bag by globalists and many in the media while Obama was in office, but Israel now knows it has a true friend in the White House.

Despite the media’s leftist narrative of bashing Israel, Trump’s message to the Palestinians is crystal clear: show the U.S. and Israel respect or you’re cut off.
