In an appearance on Judge Jeanine Pirro’s Fox News show this past weekend, Donald Trump Jr. “leaked” something he says the media refuses to report: the fact that his father wasn’t under investigation.
Trump Jr. appeared on the show to react to James Comey’s testimony before the Senate Intelligence Committee last Thursday. He said the testimony confirmed what the administration had been saying all along.
“When I see what’s going on right now, when I see what went on for ten months with the Russia nonsense, and the smear, and then we see what happens on Thursday, it’s like … gimme a break,” Trump Jr. said.

“I mean, they literally spent ten months chasing the rabbit down the hole with the sole purpose being essentially to bring down my father.”
“We were vindicated. I mean, totally,” he added.
“I think it’s clear that everything that went on the Comey testimony was basically ridiculous. They’re saying, hey, he never asked me to stop the Russia investigation. When I hear the Flynn comments … you and I’ve both known my father a long time,” he added. “When he tells you to do something, there’s no ambiguity in it. There’s no ‘hey, I hope this happens.’ ‘You and I are friends. I hope this happens, but you have to do your job.’ That’s what he told Comey.”
This seems to be a pretty compelling argument that if the president had told Comey those things, it wasn’t an attempt to stop an investigation. That wasn’t how the media took it, though, and it wasn’t long before that quote created a firestorm… [VIDEO ON NEXT PAGE]
