A group of thugs attacked a Marine who was simply minding his own business, and the reason why demonstrates a major problem with our culture today.
Grant Gray, a Marine Corps veteran who spent most of 2015 serving in Afghanistan, was attacked by three black men in an alley while making a phone call Friday night. Before the attack, one of the men in the group referred to him being “white,” Gray told WTTE.
Gray went with a friend to the Pint House in the Short North in Columbus, Ohio. He stepped outside around midnight to make a call, and that’s when things took a turn for the worse.
The men approached Gray and beat him unconscious. He said he remembered waking up at Grant Medical Center with a concussion and a broken nose.
Police said a officer responding to a call about the incident found Gray stumbling around and very disoriented.
Gray believed he was a victim of a hate crime because the thugs who beat him didn’t take a single thing from him — not even his Apple watch. Gray admitted that he couldn’t remember all of the details of the attack but one thing seems clear — it was fueled by hate.
No arrests had yet been made in connection with the attack. Watch an interview with Gray below:
The sad thing is that if a group of white men had attacked a black Marine, the mainstream media and activists from the Black Lives Matter movement would be all over it, screaming for justice. But these crimes were committed by African-Americans against white people and, because of that, they simply don’t fit the liberal media’s false narrative.
This is just another example of the double standard we see in the media every day, and it’s getting old.
If black lives matter, then all lives should matter.
