Watch: Junior ROTC Student Drops Hammer on Gun Grabbers' Narrative

Share

A junior ROTC student who survived the mass shooting at the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School said the football coach who died while shielding students could have saved lives if he had a firearm.

During an interview Saturday on “Fox & Friends,” Colton Haab said he believes Coach Aaron Feis, who was murdered by the gunman while shielding students with his body, could have stopped the shooter if Feis had been allowed to carry a firearm at school.

“Unfortunately, gun control, it’s definitely needed a little bit more,” Haab said, according the Daily Caller.

He added: “I believe if we did bring firearms on campus to teachers that are willing to carry…and they got their correct training for it, I think that would be a big beneficial factor for school safety.”

Police have identified Nikolas Cruz as the man responsible for carrying out the mass shooting on Wednesday at the high school in Parkland, Florida.

The clearly disturbed 19-year-old killed 17 people and injured many more.

The 17-year-old junior ROTC member said he believes Feis would have taken down Cruz if he had his own gun.

“If Coach Feis had had his firearm in school that day, I believe that he most likely could’ve stopped the threat,” Haab said.

Haab also told “Fox & Friends” that he shielded his classmates with bulletproof Kevlar mats in the junior ROTC room while Cruz was carrying out the attack.

Do you think Colton Haab has a point?

“We lined [the students] up into the wall and along the back of the wall…and from there I was standing with my first sergeant and I said, ‘these are Kevlar, these are bulletproof material,’” Haab recalled.

He added: “We started moving the Kevlar sheets forward.”

Check out Haab’s interview below, where he drops the hammer on gun grabbers’ narrative and speaks about his own heroism.

Haab’s statement that Fies could have stopped the gunman if he’d been armed himself is something the liberal media will downplay because it goes against their agenda.

While Democrats and Hollywood elites are exploiting this tragedy to push for massive gun control measures, Haab made it clear that at least one more gun on the scene at the high school that day could have made a difference.

Haab is also a hero who risked his own life to protect his fellow students, and his story speaks volumes about someone being willing to risk it all to save others.
