Reporters Absolutely Freak After Trump Aide Says What He Thinks of Them

Share

White House deputy press secretary Hogan Gidley came under fire from mainstream media figures after he had the guts to say what very few will:

Democrats and the liberal media have contributed far and away more chaos to the United States of America and its election processes than the Russians managed to.

I think they’re so ticked because they know deep-down he’s right.

The controversial claim came in the midst of a response to special counsel Robert Mueller’s indictment of multiple Russian nationals for interfering in the 2016 presidential election, The Hill reports.

The indictments have actually served as a boon to President Donald Trump and his administration.

According to the Mueller indictment, the Russian interference campaign began in 2014 — Trump hadn’t even announced his intentions to run at that point.

Obviously, this wasn’t some Trump-centered operation to puppet the United States.

“Russia started their anti-US campaign in 2014, long before I announced that I would run for President. The results of the election were not impacted. The Trump campaign did nothing wrong – no collusion!” Trump tweeted Saturday.

Was this Trump aide right about Democrats and the media?

In other words, as Gidley stated, the real chaos factor in the United States has been the media and Democrats, both cramming lies down the throats of the American people ever since Trump won in 2016.

They can dislike the statement all they want.

“There are two groups that have created chaos more than the Russians and that’s the Democrats and the mainstream media,” Gidley said during the interview.

“(They) continued to push this lie on the American people for more than a year, and frankly Americans should be outraged by that.”

Well, that’s just too much for our media’s sensibility, which would much rather have Americans eating from their hands than be called out.

“This is patently false — and my guess is Hogan knows as much,” wrote Washington Post White House reporter.

“Repulsive and false,” was all POLITICO Chief Economic Correspondent Ben White could manage to tweet.

“This is unreal. Patently false,” said CNN’s Chris Cillizza.

When you have such high-profile denunciations coming at you, how could you possibly be wrong?

The mainstream media has enjoyed an entirely-too-lengthy period of time in which their word has been taken for fact.

That time is up.
