A new in-depth study from Vox News polled 50,000 American voters. The study reveals that the left’s optimism about their 2018 mid-term prospects may be misplaced — and just as they did in 2016, Democrats are missing the forest for the trees heading into the next election.

A series of eye-opening graphs show exactly what kind of uphill battle Democrats face.
At first glance, Trump’s popularity and influence is slipping. “According to the latest Gallup surveys, only about 38 percent of Americans approve of Trump’s performance, which is down roughly 5 points from February,” explained the online news outlet.
“Vox’s own polling, conducted in partnership with SurveyMonkey, shows a similar drop — from 46 percent at the outset of his term to 41 percent in July,” it continued.
