We’ve all heard amazing tales of a mother’s instinct. In times of crisis, desperate mothers have sometimes been able to lift cars or perform other feats of superhuman strength in order to save their children.
Even by those standards, this is ridiculous, though.
When this Florida mother was about to be carjacked by two armed thugs, she turned into a mama grizzly when she raced to her car and was able to forcibly eject them with her bare hands.
The two men decided to target the woman’s car while she was about to fill up at a gas station in Hialeah, Florida. What they didn’t know was that her 1-year-old and 7-year-old children were in the back seat.
When the woman realized what was happening, she rushed back and began ambushing the man who got into the driver’s seat. She pulled off his mask and then tapped a surprising reservoir of strength to throw them out of the vehicle.
The two men were caught shortly after the incident, along with a third suspect.

Juan Carlos Gonzalez, 17, and Nicholas Rosado, 19, were found by police in a vehicle driven by Rebecca Utria, 21, according to WPLG-TV. The three were stopped after a short chase. Three handguns were found in their possession, as well.
You also have to wonder about just how smart these criminals were. After all, they’re going to be spending a lot of time in jail for trying to carjack what appears to be a rather old Volkswagen Cabriolet.
While police usually advocate not risking your life for your car, in this case, they said the mother made the right decision.
“In this case she did what she had to do,” Hialeah Sgt. Carl Zogby told reporters.
