You’ve heard of the Batmobile, right? Well, “terror-mobiles” are just like that — except more explode-y.
In this video posted to military.com on Thursday, several shots of Islamic State group-owned and operated vehicles — the so-called terror-mobiles — were quickly transformed into piles of scrap metal.
According to the comments, the airstrikes that laid waste to these Islamic State group assets took place in Iraq, courtesy of Iraqi army aviation.
No date was given for the attacks, but you can watch them in all their explosive goodness here:
There’s something satisfying about seeing the hard-earned (if ill-gotten) military assets of the Islamic State group go up in smoke, even when it’s not happening as a result of American efforts.
Those efforts do take place, of course, and we applaud the men and women who carry them out. We just wish that the Obama administration would allow for the completion of more of them.
Unfortunately, President Barack Obama still seems to consider the Islamic State group a JV team incapable of striking targets outside of Iraq or Syria — despite the fact that sympathizers with the group killed hundreds in Paris in November, not to mention the 14 deaths in San Bernardino, California, the following month.
Apparently, the promise of the terrorists to infiltrate the ranks of Muslim refugees fleeing Syria and elsewhere in the Middle East means little to this president, either, despite the fact that they are apparently in possession of at least one passport printing machine formerly owned by the Syrian government.
But, hey, let’s not get hung up on the negatives. The fact is, there are some people in the world with the sense to engage the barbaric radical Islamists, so let’s just try to keep that in mind while we wait for a president with the guts to do the same.
Meanwhile, I think I’ll watch this video again.
Please share this on Facebook and Twitter and let us know what you think about the timely demise of these Islamic State group “terror-mobiles.”
