Ever since the early morning hours of Nov. 9, Hillary Clinton and her supporters have been wondering who to blame. The first obvious target was “fake news.” Then it was James Comey. Finally, the left became convinced only a nuclear power could have been responsible for the atomic dumpster fire that unfolded that chilly November night: those evil Russkies!
That answer satisfied most Democrats. Convinced it was absolutely unconnected to their own incompetence and cloistered existence, they could happily walk away and turn their attention to becoming a member of the #resistance or buying bespoke knit pink caps with cat ears on them from Etsy.
Not Hillary Clinton, though. Oh, no. That conspiracy theory didn’t go far enough for her. So, much like Jim Garrison in a pantsuit, she persevered and sussed out who’s really responsible for the Russian hacking: the Americans!

Huh? You may be thinking that she’s lost her last marble — and you’d probably still be right, but she has an explanation for her theory. Not a very good one, mind you, but an explanation nonetheless.
In a conversation with Kara Swisher and Walt Mossberg at a conference in California Wednesday, sponsored by the news and technology website Recode, Clinton said that while the Russians hacked into the Democrat National Committee’s servers, they “could not have known how best to weaponize that information unless they had been guided … by Americans and guided by people who had polling and data information.”
And what Americans were responsible for this? You may be shocked to learn who Hillary blames.
