Gowdy Bombshell: Surprising if FBI Director Still Employed Next Week

South Carolina Rep. Trey Gowdy made a bombshell prediction about FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe on Wednesday, hinting that his future with the agency could be in jeopardy.

In an interview with Fox News host Martha MacCallum, Gowdy suggested McCabe may soon lose his job as evidence continues to points to corruption within the FBI.

Gowdy was discussing the matter of McCabe canceling a scheduled testimony before the House Intelligence Committee earlier this week. McCabe was expected to testify about FBI agent Peter Strzok, who was removed from special counsel Robert Mueller’s team because of nasty, anti-Trump text messages he sent before the election.

Fox News reporter Chad Pergram had an explanation, and tweeted that a source told him, “McCabe has an Ohr problem.”

Pergram also said to “expect subpoenas” to get McCabe to appear before Congress.

If you’ll recall, former DOJ associate attorney general Bruce Ohr was recently demoted because of alleged contacts he had with the controversial Fusion GPS. His wife reportedly worked for Fusion GPS during the presidential election, according to Fox News.

Gowdy told MacCallum that the canceled testimony was rescheduled for next week, but he still doesn’t think the director will go.

“I’ll be shocked if he comes next week,” Gowdy said.

“I’ll be a little bit surprised if he’s still an employee of the FBI this time next week,” he added.

Gowdy seems to know something we don’t.

It seems clear that McCabe has not been impartial in the investigation of the president and failed Democrat presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.

If Gowdy’s prediction is true, then we can assume a potentially big shake up is in store for the FBI, which would not a bad thing. In fact, it would be a blessing considering all of the political bias and corruption we have seen in this agency.

At this point, whatever it takes to drain the swamp is what needs to be done.
