In the past few months, multiple videos have come out of the Middle East showing the Islamic State group executing hostages and committing other unspeakable horrors.
The RightScoop reported on a video that was reportedly taken by a Russian fighter jet showing the bombing of an Islamic State group oil convoy.
The caption to the video claims that the oil was headed for Turkey, but there is absolutely no solid proof to back up that claim. Russia has insisted that Turkey is getting oil from the Islamic State group, a claim Turkey and the U.S. deny.
Russia claims to have evidence of the sale of oil between Turkey and the Islamic State group, but so far has not managed to actually produce anything that comes close to concrete evidence.
The video shows the warplanes first surveying a crowded highway full of 18-wheelers, and then the plane goes in to attack. It’s unclear whether the plane used missiles or bombs to take out the trucks.
At the end of the video, many of the trucks from the convoy are still moving, but several are in flames burning at the side of the road. I think it’s safe the say that more than a few Islamic State group soldiers died in that attack.
Overall, the attack doesn’t look like much of a success because the highway is still intact, and many trucks still remain. It is possible that the trucks were destroyed after the footage ended, however.
