FBI Deep State Now Has Search Warrant for Sheriff Clarke

Share

In what appears to be an attempt to launch another investigation into one of President Donald Trump’s allies, the FBI has obtained a search warrant for a Google email account the bureau believes belongs to former Milwaukee County Sheriff David Clarke, according to the Independent Journal Review.

The search warrant request was revealed Thursday when Special Agent Jennifer Walkowski was granted access to Clarke’s alleged email account, dclarke.cowboy@gmail.com.

In early 2017, federal investigators tried to determine whether criminal charges could be levied against Clarke for an incident he reportedly had with an airplane passenger in January of 2016. Federal prosecutors ultimately opted not to charge Clarke with any civil rights offenses stemming from the incident.

Walkowski’s affidavit is dated March 7, 2017 — before federal prosecutors had made their determination — but inexplicably wasn’t filed until Dec. 29, 2017, well after that decision. In the document, she claims the FBI has probable cause to believe Clarke broke the law after Milwaukee investigators asserted he illegally ordered police in Dallas, Texas to question a man, according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

In his written statement, airplane passenger Dan Black claimed Clarke had police officers question him after he and the former sheriff exchanged words on an airplane.

“As I passed him, I asked if he was Sheriff Clarke, and he responded in the affirmative. I shook my head as I was moving on to my seat near the back of the plane. From behind, he asked if I had a problem. I shook my head ‘no’ again and continued to my seat … I intentionally did not say anything more to him because I did not want to make a scene of get in trouble as a Milwaukee man did in September when confronting Clarke on an airplane,” Black wrote in his complaint against Clarke.

After his encounter with Clarke, Black claimed Clarke had officers take him to a waiting area at the airport, where he was questioned by deputies for allegedly making racist remarks toward the former sheriff.

“When I exited the flight at Mitchell International, there were six uniformed deputies and two bomb/drug dogs standing there with Sheriff Clarke waiting for me to exit. As soon as Sheriff Clarke gestured towards me, he and some of the officers left us. I was very publicly escorted in front of everyone down the hall to a waiting area, and then questioned by two of the Sheriff’s Department deputies,” Black wrote.

He continued: “They told me that Sheriff Clarke said I had made some remarks to him upon entering the plane. When I asked for clarification, the deputies said they couldn’t tell me, and when I asked if they even knew the context of my ‘remarks,’ they responded ‘no.’”

Clarke, a Fox News contributor and ardent Trump supporter, is now being investigated by the FBI for an alleged situation he had with a random guy at an airport nearly two years ago — a situation in which federal prosecutors had already investigated and declined to press charges.

Reports suggest the FBI is looking into whether Clarke made any mention of the incident with the email address they believe belongs to him.

This type of government overreach into a matter that has already been dismissed should be alarming to many, as it underscores the apparent unfettered powers of the Deep State.

This is also nothing more than front-page tabloid gossip, but apparently it’s enough to warrant a federal investigation given the FBI’s apparent desire to go after anyone close to Trump.

Perhaps the FBI will go after Barron Trump’s Xbox account next.
