All bullies are pretty foul human beings, but how low on the totem pole of humanity do you have to go to pick on a blind kid? Sadly, that question actually has an answer in the form of a fight video from Huntington Beach High School in California.
In the video, which was uploaded to LiveLeak on Thursday, a blind teen named Austin — who apparently has some sight but is clearly unable to process much — was swung at by an unnamed bully in a green knit cap.
I’ve never known a person who wears a knit cap when it’s not cold outside to be an acceptable example of the human race, and unsurprisingly this bully was no exception. He took a few swings at the blind kid’s face and hit him several times, even telling the blind kid, ““Get the f*** out of here!”
Observing the fight, though, was a kid named Cody. Cody apparently isn’t the sort of person to wear a knit cap in warm weather, and he definitely didn’t approve.
Things, as they say, were about to get real.
Cody gave the bully a good whack to the head, which sent him to the ground. “What the f***? Trying to jump a blind kid, bro?” he says as he fights back against the bully.
As the bully lays sprawled on the ground, Cody laid into him. “I swear to God, if you f***ing f*** with this kid again, I will f*** you up,” he tells the bloodied, dazed bully.
In case you hadn’t guessed, the video is violent and contains some pretty graphic language.
When you have to pick on blind kids to get your kicks, you should probably realize that the thug life just isn’t for you. Hopefully, this bully learned his lesson — picking on weaker kids is morally repugnant, particularly if those kids are disabled. It’s the kind of thing that will definitely get you beat up, and rightly so.
Perhaps, if there’s time, he can learn a second lesson, too — knit caps in warm weather are for morons and degenerates.
