In our race-obsessed American culture, there is one word that, while used freely and frequently by one race, is strictly verboten for anyone else to utter.
We are talking of course about the “N-word” and the glaringly hypocritical double-standard about who is allowed to use it and in what context.
A video was recently posted to World Star Hip Hop showing a group of black men berating and harassing a young Japanese girl for having the audacity to speak the forbidden word in their presence.
The girl, who claimed to have studied in France before coming to America, wasn’t particularly fluent in the English language and appeared confused at times as the men attempted to explain to her that she was wrong.
Asked why she would use the word that has such racist connotations, she admitted that she learned it from rap songs, where it is often a heavily used component in the lyrical content.
She also admitted that she was never really good with history, though she did know a little bit about the slavery that occurred in America’s past.
After another man grabbed the microphone and launched into a expletive-laced tirade against the woman, he sent her along her way with a warning.
“Don’t call no black men or woman no f****ing n******s out here. Don’t do it again. Get the f*** out of here.”
Looking as confused as ever, the woman walked away, most likely to never ever use the word again with anyone, for any reason, after the verbal assault she endured.
