2nd African President Shreds Media's "Trump's a Racist" Narrative

Share

The the strategy of the leftist media these days seems to be throwing everything they can at President Trump, and see what sticks. For a while, they thought that the “s***hole” comment narrative was going to stick, but as time went on, they began to realize that this was another lost narrative; especially when African’s began to speak up.

During the president’s recent trip to Davos, Switzerland, he had the opportunity to sit down and talk with leaders from around the world, such as Rwandan President, Paul Kagame.

“I wanted to thank you for the support we have received from you, personal, and your administration. And we’re looking forward to also working with the United States at the level of the African Union, where we are tightening out reforms of the African Union, so that we get our act together to do the right things,” Kagame told President Trump on Friday.

Now hold on. I thought that African countries were enraged by Trump’s alleged “s***hole” comments? Plus, the media has continually spun the narrative that Trump’s alleged comment mean he hates all black people and is a white nationalist racist.

But if all that’s true, why did an African president thank Trump not only for the support of the U.S, but also the support he has received from Trump “personally?” Doesn’t sound like a racist to me.

“I thank you very much,” Kagame concluded.

Wow.

But the amazing thing about this story, is that Kagame isn’t the first African President to thank Trump.

On Tuesday, Ugandan President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni spoke very highly of President Trump in a speech before the East African Legislative Assembly.

“America has got one of the best presidents ever. I love Trump. I love Trump because he talks to Africans frankly,” he said.

Museveni wasn’t finished though. “I don’t know if he’s misquoted or whatever, but when he speaks I like him because he speaks frankly.”

In April, Museveni tweeted, “That’s why I love Trump. He’s told you he is not your uncle. This is good. For Africans who feel orphaned, sorry. Let’s mind our own affairs.”

So, the big question now is, are Museveni and Kagame racist? I mean, Museveni basically said the same thing that Trump allegedly said, and Kagame put his support behind a “racist” Trump. So that makes them racist, right?

Please.

Of course, that won’t stop the media from pushing their “Trump is a racist bigot” narrative. I’m sure we can expect to hear this narrative pushed for years to come.

Fortunately for Trump, these narratives just don’t stick no matter how much the media wants to push it as “truth.”
