Most of us have probably, at one point or another, thought about revenge on the savages in the Islamic State group. Bombing them, subjecting them to enhanced interrogation techniques, making them sit through late-period Adam Sandler movies until they consider suicide — all of those are on the list.
Decapitating them and then cooking their heads? Probably not so much.
That’s what makes this Iraqi grandmother such a unique, awesome and scary individual. According to CNN, Wahida Mohamed Al-Jumaily — known by the sobriquet Um Hanadi — has been leading a militia of 70 men fighting the terrorists.
Um Hanadi has been fighting terrorists since 2004. She said the death of her first two husbands, father and three brothers at the brutal hands of the Islamic State group justified the harsh tactics she has used against the savages.
“I fought them, I beheaded them, I cooked their heads, I burned their bodies,” the 39-year-old Hanadi said.
“This is all documented,” she added. “You can see it on my Facebook page.”
Along the way, she’s managed to become the most wanted woman on the Islamic State group’s list.
“Six times they tried to assassinate me,” she said. “I have shrapnel in my head and legs, and my ribs were broken.”
“But all that didn’t stop me from fighting,” she added. “I received threats from the top leadership of ISIS, including from Abu Bakr (al-Baghdadi) himself. But I refused.”
And fight she does. She’s been provided with weapons by Gen. Jamaa Anad, commander of ground forces in the Salahuddin province. General Anad says he gave them to her because, “She lost her brothers and husbands as martyrs.”
Hanadi’s two daughters, aged 22 and 20, were also said to be ready to fight, but they were at home taking care of their children. Let’s hope that they never have to take to the battlefield.
