Sheriff Warns of Second American Revolution over Gun Control
Saturday, January 25th, 2014
When it comes to gun control, we need to listen to what our law enforcement officers tell us about its effects on violent crime, not politicians and members of the media who have no idea what they’re talking about.
We’ve written about several examples of gun control being criticized by law enforcement. When Colorado passed tough new restrictions on guns, the vast majority of sheriffs in that state announced that they would not enforce the new laws. Another sheriff, appearing on Piers Morgan’s show to discuss a gun crime in his jurisdiction, destroyed Piers when he tried to steer the conversation into a push for more gun control.
Appearing on Justice with Jeanine Pirro, Milwaukee County Sheriff David A. Clark, Jr. was asked about enforcing federal gun control laws that would deprive Americans of the right of Americans to bear arms. His response was, “I wouldn’t enforce those laws because I don’t want to get shot, because the American people are going to put up with so much before they’re going to push back.” He added that if the feds tried to disarm citizens, you would see uprisings and “maybe a version of the Second American Revolution.”
Check out this video of the interview:
Sheriff Clark is a patriot for standing up against gun control laws. Law enforcement knows better than anyone that disarming law-abiding citizens will only lead to more deaths of innocent people as the guns will all be in the hands of outlaws. Law enforcement officials couldn’t have made it clearer that they won’t be participating in any attempt to disarm Americans.
