A field operator with a liberal super PAC who was shown on secret video bragging to conservative James O’Keefe about how his PAC incited violence at Donald Trump’s rallies and illegally coordinated with Hillary Clinton’s campaign has been fired from his position, Breitbart reported.
Scott Foval was one of several targets of the video, published Monday by conservative journalist James O’Keefe’s Project Veritas. It took less than a day for the things he said on tape to lead to his dismissal.
“Americans United For Change has always operated according to the highest ethical and legal standards. Scott Foval is no longer associated with Americans United for Change,” a statement from Americans United For Change told Fox News.

In the video, Foval is seen bragging about his coordination with the Hillary campaign and Democrat National Committee, something that’s extremely illegal for political action committees to do.
”We are contracted directly with the DNC and the campaign. I am contracted to (Robert Creamer) but I answer to the head of special events for the DNC and the head of special events and political for the campaign. Through Bob. We have certain people who do not get to talk to them, at all,” Foval said.
He also discussed inciting violence at Trump rallies, although he seemed to be more careful to emphasize that the Clinton campaign had plausible deniability in terms of inciting violence.

“The thing that we have to watch is making sure there’s a double-blind between the actual campaign and the actual DNC and what we’re doing. There’s a double-blind there, so that they can plausibly deny that they heard anything about it,” Foval said.
O’Keefe, needless to say, wasn’t satisfied.
“They want to make Scott Foval the fall guy,” he told Breitbart. “But this rot goes higher and deeper. This was a conspiracy to create a narrative that Trump supporters were dangerous and out of control.
“This scheme was created and approved at the highest levels of the Hillary Clinton campaign and the Democratic National Committee,” he argued.

Of course, we have little doubt Foval will experience little interruption of his career trajectory from this. He’ll find a soft landing spot at another one of these faceless PACs, something with a name like United States Citizens United for Progressive Uniting Change And Jailing Climate Deniers in a United Fashion (USCUPUCAJCD, for short).
If he’s ever reached by reporters about this again, he’ll undoubtedly say he’s learned his lesson and will never do anything like what he did during the 2016 campaign again.
Then, he’ll hang up the phone and do the exact same thing that he’s been doing all along. Only this time, there’s not going to be a camera there.
