When a rather tenacious burglary suspect just simply refused to stop running from authorities, one utterly fed-up police copter pilot decided to land his vehicle and go after the thug himself.
The car chase quickly turned into a foot chase, however, and though one suspect was soon after apprehended in a nearby neighborhood, the other stubbornly refused to stop running.
Watch below as he keeps fleeing, even after a police car clips him:
Not even having been painfully knocked down by a fast-moving police cruiser stopped the thug, who promptly jumped back up and tried to continue on his not-so-merry way.
But then the unbelievable happened when one of the crew members of the helicopter seen hovering above the suspect only a few moments earlier could be seen on the camera rushing toward him like a bull.
Apparently, the pilot had landed the copter in frustration so that his crew could jump into the fray.
With one fell swoop he then toppled the burglar to the ground and began a struggle for control — one that provided nearby officers with the time they needed to pull up, jump out of their vehicles and rush to the helicopter cop’s assistance.

Nice try there, Speedy Gonzales, but the cops got you. Actually, a helicopter cop got you. It just goes to show how it is never a good idea to try and flee from any cop, regardless of whether he’s driving in a cruiser, galloping along on a horse or even hovering above you in a copter.
