Peanut butter and jelly. Siskel and Ebert. The “Reverend” Al Sharpton and teleprompter trouble. Some things just go together.
The same thing can be said for the U.S. Marines and Britain’s Special Air Service. Sure, they’re pretty awesome on their own. However, as this video shows, all sorts of awesomeness results when the two team up together to fight the bad guys.
In this video — uploaded by YouTube user “Funker350” back in the halcyon days of 2011, when we were still hoping to be able to avoid a second President Barack Obama term — the Marines and the SAS spotted a Taliban patrol.
The video started with the inimitable shaky-cam style action in the trenches, with heavy firepower being deployed against the Taliban wretches.
The forces seemed to be yelling “250,” assumedly the heading of the people they’re fighting. “That way, over the compound, second compound on the right!” a distinctly British voice yelled over the gunfire.
As the hits began registering, one of the American troops could be heard yelling, “Whoo-oo!”
A bit of handheld artillery later, and these Marines had managed to blow up the Taliban creeps in a huge plume of smoke.
Of course, this sort of scene is a lot more rare nowadays. The Taliban has been on the rise again, and even the Islamic State group has started to make inroads into Afghanistan.
Why? Barack Obama wants to dismantle our military effort in that part of the world. In an insane attempt to end all of the wars we’ve had going on, he’s let the most violent, militant groups in the world grow and fester in these environments.
This is why we need groups like the Marines and the Special Air Service. They’re able to take out villains like the Taliban and the Islamic State group. We need to see a lot more videos like this, and a lot less liberal equivocation.
Please like and share on Facebook and Twitter if you agree any time the Taliban gets blown up is a good day.
