Prior to the culmination of the 2016 presidential election, liberals claimed that a victory by then-GOP nominee Donald Trump would benefit the Islamic State group by improving its recruiting efforts.
Fascinatingly enough, the Muslim Brotherhood sort of disagreed.
After the election, a spokesperson for the group complained on social media that Trump’s rise to the presidency was a “disaster” for the Arab and Muslim world, according to the Middle East Monitor.

“Goliath is coming himself, with his horses and men … what our nation has witnessed in the last period is something and what is to come is something different,” spokesperson Mamdouh Al-Muneer reportedly wrote.
He sounded as frightened as a mouse — and deservedly so.
As opposed to President Barack Obama, who has spent his eight years in office going after terrorists with kid gloves, President-elect Donald Trump has signaled his intention to pulverize the jihadists.

Moreover, whereas Obama has refused to join other nations in officially classifying the Muslim Brotherhood as a terrorist organization, the president-elect will very likely not hesitate to brand the group with the label it deserves.

But by no means was Al-Muneer the only Muslim Brotherhood member shivering in fear.
“Donald Trump’s election hit the Muslim Brotherhood like a thunderbolt,” Egyptian newspaper Youm7 revealed this week, as reported by Breitbart. “Within hours after his election the sites run by the Muslim Brotherhood announced the demonstrations planned for 11/11 are cancelled.”

Col. Yehya Kadwani, chairman of the Egyptian Parliament’s National Security Committee, reportedly added that that the Brotherhood’s demonstrations were designed “to spread anarchy” and based on the belief “Obama’s policy will continue and that Hillary will support the Muslim Brotherhood.”
Trump had not even been inaugurated yet, and already terrorists across the globe were cowering in fear. And sadly for them, this was just the beginning.
