The political world was stunned, though not particularly surprised, when Wikileaks published nearly 20,000 hacked documents from the Democrat National Committee just days before the start of its national convention.
The full extent of the fallout was not immediately known, as journalists continued to sift through the hugely incriminating data dump searching for interesting tidbits of embarrassing information regarding the collusion between the DNC and presumptive Democrat presidential nominee Hillary Clinton.
One rather remarkable revelation was recently addressed by Politico, and it more or less confirmed suspicions raised months ago by the campaign of Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders and state-level Democrat party operatives.

At issue was the Hillary Victory Fund, a joint fundraising venture between the DNC and the Clinton campaign that seemingly funneled money through the state parties into the DNC, and from there into the Clinton campaign’s Hillary For America coffers.
Of the roughly $82 million raised through this effort, which would purportedly have been split between the campaign and the states, the state parties kept less than 1 percent of the total — a whopping $800,000, according to Federal Election Commission records.
Lest one think that this veritable slush fund for Hillary Clinton’s campaign was a mere oversight, keep in mind that leaked emails have proven that DNC officials were aware of the arrangement, were aware that some were asking about the arrangement, and were keeping a close eye on any stories in the media pertaining to the arrangement, expressing hopefulness that their little ruse would go unnoticed.

In fact, in an email exchange in late April that discussed keeping the fundraising venture a secret from the media, ostensibly to keep Republicans from figuring out their tactic, DNC communications director Luis Miranda declared, “There’s been no coverage that we’ve found, which is what we wanted.”
To be sure, the DNC will attempt to explain this away by saying they were simply holding on to the cash until later in the race, when it would then be distributed and used in the most effective manner, but few are buying any of the excuses put forward by the corrupt organization anymore.
It has long been suspected that Hillary Clinton and the Democrat Party are corrupt to the core, and the data dump by Wikileaks has provided ample evidence that those suspicions were more than true.
Clinton and her cronies in the DNC lied to the several states in order to get them on board with the joint fundraising efforts, then essentially stole the money intended for state parties and down-ballot races to pad the purse of the Clinton campaign.
