A jihadist who thought he was going to get away with raping a young girl ended up with an entirely different experience after a British Special Air Service sergeant intervened.
The sergeant was part of a joint U.S. and British covert rescue mission in Syria last month to free girls being forced to wed members of the Islamic State group, according to the U. K. Daily Star.
Two jihadists reportedly opened fire on the sergeant as he was moving room-to-room in their house. Just after the sergeant shot the first jihadist, his weapon failed, forcing him to resort to using an ax on the the second jihadist. It was a successful move — a direct hit to the skull, according to the U.K. Daily Mail.
That’s what you call a sharp edge of justice.
The soldiers retrieved the phones of the jihadist in the operation, and the images of the tortured girls contained thereon were so brutal as to reduce some of the soldiers to tears.
Girls who refused to cooperate were reportedly raped and dipped in acid or crucified, senior military sources said.
The special operations teams were flown by helicopter to the outlying area of a village that had fallen to the Islamic State group militants.
The teams attacked jihadists with the support of armed drones, and U.S. Delta Force snipers reportedly killed up to 10 jihadis while the SAS team killed 15 gunmen. A drone destroyed two pickup trucks in which gunmen were trying to escape.
“Members of ISIS had been in the area for a few months and had been rounding up pre-pubescent girls who they wanted to become jihadi brides,” one source told the Star. The source added that if parents protested they were killed or beheaded.
Some of girls attempted to run away but were captured and suffered “appalling deaths.”
These barbarians got what they deserved.
