Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton recently held a rally in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where at least one of her leftist supporters used the opportunity to launch an attack on the opposition.
According to KDKA, both supporters and opponents of Clinton gathered on the streets outside of the David L. Lawrence Convention Center where Hillary and vice presidential nominee Tim Kaine were set to deliver remarks.
One Clinton supporter by the name of Joshua Sturman purposefully approached a group of protesters who support Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump, antagonizing them by attempting to set an American flag on fire right in front of them.
The Trump supporters quickly extinguished the small blaze, which reportedly “enraged” the bandana-wearing Sturman, who promptly launched himself onto a much older Trump supporter, taking him to the ground.
Police officers were alerted and quickly moved over to remove Sturman from atop the older man, placing him into custody.
Sturman now faces a litany charges, including disorderly conduct, simple assault, recklessly endangering another person, and causing or risking catastrophe.
As for the man who was attacked, he should be OK. He told police that he only tried to put out the fiery flag because he feared it may have been doused in some sort of accelerant, which could have made the fire worse and allowed it to spread more rapidly.
Trump supporters peacefully assembled to voice their opposition to Hillary Clinton when she made her way to Pittsburgh, but they were set upon by an arrogant and angry leftist who resorted to physical violence when the peaceful Trump supporters refused to allow him to burn an American flag in front of them.
