“He pretty much thought he wanted to be infamous … in terms of having a showdown,” his aunt said. “He always praised those people who got into shootouts with police.”

Police were able to subdue Brown, but he continued to be combative even as EMS workers were attempt to save his life. Brown died later at VCU Medical Center, according to Fox News.

It has not yet been confirmed that the shooter’s hatred for police officers was his motive for this particular shooting, but it seems to be the best explanation at this point.

Brown likely received encouragement from the Black Lives Matter movement, if not directly, then by simply watching their heinous actions play out on national television. Not to mention, President Obama who has refused to stand up for our law enforcement against these violent thugs because they “could be his sons.”

Don’t expect Obama to even mention this senseless killing, much less send representatives to Dermyer’s funeral. He is likely hoping it will blow over soon, and undoubtedly will not call any extra attention to the underlying problem that is these entitled, cop-hating thugs.
