In a mafia-style insult, someone furious with German Chancellor Angela Merkel left a pig’s head on her doorstep.
It’s outrage that millions of Germans are feeling — there are too many Middle Eastern Muslim refugees, and that message was delivered to her constituency office in Stralsund on Saturday.
Police have confirmed the event and stated that they were working on an investigation, but that was all they were willing to say.

Merkel has been crashing hard of late, ever since the New Year’s riots and her poor reaction thereto. According to Reuters, “Merkel’s popularity has waned due to her liberal migrant policy.
“More than a million migrants arrived in Germany last year, many of them fleeing war and poverty in the Middle East and Africa, and concerns about how Europe’s largest economy will be able to integrate them are now rife.”
“An INSA poll published on Wednesday showed that almost half of Germans did not want her to stay in office for a fourth term after an election next year.”

Not everybody is opposed to her actions, though — especially those who don’t have to deal with the ramifications of such actions. George Clooney met with Merkel in February, and then said that the United States would do well to fall in line with liberal refugee policy.
But we have a better idea: George Clooney should move to Germany, where apparently the immigrant policy is more to his liking.
In fact, we’ll be happy to pay for his airline ticket — as long as it’s one-way.
